The room arrangement riddle

If your living room lacks wall space because it’s cut up by awkwardly placed windows and doors, put the windows to work. In this cozy scheme, seating is centered on a wraparound sofa that nestles into a corner of windows.

The contemporary sofa is long and low, its back aligns smartly with the windowsills and allows sunlight and a pleasant view to shine through. To complete the conversation area, there’s a comfortable lounge chair and glass-topped coffee table. A handsome geometric area rug in neutral tones sets the grouping off while effectively diverting traffic around the furnishings to the outside door and stairway.
